The Mineral Moment
Beneath Balochistan and the northern belts lies some of the world's most coveted mineral wealth — copper, gold, and the rare earths that power every modern technology. For decades the value left the country as raw ore. The opportunity now is to process at home: to build refining and beneficiation capability so that Pakistani minerals become Pakistani industry, jobs, and exports. The world is racing to secure these supply chains. Pakistan should be a supplier of refined strength, not raw dependence.
